| Legal Consultant | The Candidate must have LLB/LLM from HEC recognized university or a reputed foreign university and/or Barrister-at-Law with alteast 7 years of experience in litigation.
The candidate must have following professional credentials:
a. Understanding of regulatory regime in Pakistan.
b. Comprehensive knowledge of competition law, including the Competition Act, 2010, regulations, and related jurisprudence.
c. Experience of legislative drafting including rules and regulations.
d. Commitment to professionalism, discipline and integrity.
e. Excellent written and oral communication, research, interpretation and representation skills.
f. Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
g. High court license
| 30 - 45 Years | 7 Years | The key responsibilities will include:
a. Rendering advice on legal and regulatory affairs and perform all necessary acts assigned by the Commission in involving legal issues, as and when directed.
b. Drafting and examination of rules, regulations and other legal instruments.
c. Providing legal and procedural support to in-house adjudication.
d. Representing Commission at various judicial forums/courts, such as high courts.
e. Opinion writing on complex corporate issues.
f. The candidate must be able to provide technical assistance to Cartel and Trade Abuses Department (C&TA), Office of Fair trade (OFT) and Centre of Excellenec in Competition Law enquiries (CECL).
g. Perform any other task assigned by the Chairman.

| Cartel Investigator
(Cartel and Trade Abuses)
| The candidate should preferably have sound knowledge of Competition Law and Policy, a good understanding of regulatory frameworks, and minimum 3 years’ experience in enforcement, legal analysis, or related areas/field.
Minimum LLB or Bachelor's degree (16 years) in Economics, Finance, Econometrics or related field. Candidate with Master and Ph.D. degree will be given preference.
| Max 35 Years | 3 Years | (a) Conduct legal and economic analysis of cartelization and trade abuse cases to identify and assess anti-competitive practices.
(b) Assist in the initiation, planning, and execution of investigations into suspected cartel activities, collusive practices, and abuse of dominance.
(c) Interpret and apply competition law provisions in conjunction with economic principles to evaluate market behavior and business practices.
(d) Conduct investigations and gather evidences in cartel activities.
(e) Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, research, and enforcement departments to support case investigations and enforcement actions.
(f) Perform any other duties as assigned by the senior management.

| Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst | The ideal candidate should possess sound knowledge of competition law and policy, corporate finance, and regulatory frameworks. The role requires strong analytical abilities along with effective communication and drafting skills for preparing comprehensive reports and recommendations. A minimum of four (04) years of relevant professional experience is required and prior exposure to mergers and acquisitions (M&A) or competition law will be considered an added advantage
Minimum LLB or Bachelor’s degree (16 years) in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or Accountancy. Candidate with Master and Ph.D. Degree will be given preference.
| Max 35 Years | 4 Years | (a) Review and analyze merger and acquisition cases in line with competition law and Commission’s requirements.
(b) Conduct financial modeling, valuation analysis, and risk assessments.
(c) Carry out legal and economic assessment of market structures, dominance concerns, and potential anti-competitive effects of M&A transactions.
(d) Prepare case reports, briefs, and recommendations for senior management.
(e) Draft and review transaction-related documents, reports, and presentations.
(f) Draft opinions, analysis, and related documentation for M&A enforcement and decision-making.
(g) Perform any other tasks related to M&A analysis and enforcement as assigned by the senior management.
