1 Advocacy and Out Reach SpecialistThe ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and executing advocacy initiatives that raise awareness about competition law and policies. The role involves collaborating with industry stakeholders, Chamber of Commerce, educational institutions, policymakers, and the public to foster awareness of fair play and transparency in the marketplace. i. Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Social Sciences, Media Sciences, Journalism or a related field. ii. 7 years (in case of Bachelor’s degree) and 5 years (in case of Master’s degree) of proven experience in advocacy, public policy, or communications. iii. Strong understanding of competition law and regulatory frameworks. iv. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. v. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 35 Years5 YearsThe main responsibilities for this post entail; a) Develop and implement advocacy strategies to promote competition policies. b) Engage with stakeholders, including businesses, government bodies, and the public. c) Create and deliver persuasive content for various platforms. d) Represent the Commission in various public forums and policy discussions. e) Prepare periodic reports on advocacy initiatives, progress, and impact for internal review and stakeholder communication. f) Monitor developments in national and international competition regimes and propose relevant advocacy initiatives accordingly g) Plan and execute awareness campaigns, workshops, and outreach programs across various sectors and regions. 1

Terms and Conditions:

  • The appointment will be made on contract basis, for a period of two (02) years further extendable, subject to satisfactory performance.

  • The candidate possessing the requisite qualification, experience and age may apply. Only shortlisted candidates based on qualification and experience will be called for the interview and no TA/DA will be given to the candidates to appear in the test/interview.

  • General age relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit would be granted as admissible under the rules.

  • Government employees may apply through proper channel after getting NOC from the parent department.
